No More Workshops: Harrell On Demand Instead!

by Nancy Adams, Associate Director, Coordinator for Education and Instruction

Based on user feedback, Harrell HSL now offers convenient one-on-one instruction sessions to help Penn State Hershey staff, faculty, and students learn more about search tools and effective information practices.  Read more about our Harrell On Demand instruction sessions at http://med.psu.edu/web/library/services/forms/workshoprequest.

We can help you with:

  • Effective searching of PubMed, CINAHL, Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database, OVID Medline, Web of Science and many other information sources
  • Increasing your writing productivity with EndNote, Mendeley, or Zotero

  • Special topics such as copyright basics and submitting to NIH PubMed Central

  • Effective collaboration with wikis, Microsoft OneNote, and Google apps

Library workshops will no longer be regularly scheduled, but we will gladly accommodate groups who need training.  Call Nancy Adams at 717-531-8989 to plan group instruction or submit a request at http://med.psu.edu/web/library/services/forms/workshoprequest.
