Literature Search? We Can Help!

by Elaine Dean, Reference and Instruction Librarian

To request the help of library faculty on your next information search, submit a request form which is now available on the Library home page under "Services" (see image below) or directly at http://med.psu.edu/web/library/services/literaturesearch.  This free service is available to all Penn State Hershey faculty, staff and students.  For students, this service will incorporate instruction on searching for scholarly research.  Please contact the  reference department at HERREF@hmc.psu.edu or 717-531-8634 with any questions.

Here's a comment from Dr. Pedro Roca, a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellow:  "I thought I was able to obtain any kind of medical information without help, until I found myself with a challenging topic. I was not certain I was complete with my search, so I decided to try the literature search service  from the library at PSH. To my surprise the search service provided me with information I was unable to retrieve by myself. Moreover, it was pertinent, complete, timely and easy to request. I will certainly use those services again. "
